General Medicine

Shija Hospitals is accredited by the National Board of Examination for 3 years post graduate DNB course in General Medicine. The dedicated team of physicians provide outpatient and inpatient primary care services for adults and consultative services for patients with complex clinical problems. They also provide pre operative evaluation that helps in ensuring an uneventful and successful surgery. Intensive-care under our dedicated physicians is also provided to patients with life threatening conditions like instability  hypertension/ hypotension), airway or respiratory compromise (such as ventilator support), acute renal failure, potentially lethal cardiac arrhythmias, or the cumulative effects of multiple organ failure, more commonly referred to now as multiple organ dysfunction syndrome. Such patients are admitted and closely monitored in intensive care units until deemed stable to transfer to a less intensively monitored unit.
