A unit of SHCRI, has been a huge driving force in eradicating blindness through various free comprehensive camps, cataract detection and surgery camps. More than 7000 cataract surgeries have been performed free of cost under NPCB program and other sponsorship programs.

It is currently under the mentorship of Lion’s Aravind Institute of Community Ophthalmology (LAICO), a unit of Aravind Eye Care Systems, for improvement of operational efficiency and enhanced outreach eye care services.

Shija Eye Care Foundation, a unit of Shija Hospitals and Research Institute Pvt. Ltd. is centre par excellence for treatment of eye related problems. The centre is located at the serene foothills of environment friendly Langol, manned by well trained and highly qualified eye care professional.
